SATURDAY 18 - MONDAY 20.03.2017: A break in the weather, let's take the Poodle Palace Ark out and hit the high seas! As everyone knows, the rains just kept on keeping on! Headed for Troy and Melissa's place (Carole's nephew and niece in-law). Also met up with Helen (Carole's sister), who was visiting at the same time. How peaceful and beautiful is Mulgoa - Carole's father was the principal at the Primary School and both sisters were married in a double wedding at the local church.
Troy and Melissa bought property in the area 5 years ago and are currently building their dream home. Enjoyed a lovely relaxing time and visited the Mulgoa Thai Restaurant on Sunday evening for Kai's birthday (Troy and Melissa's son). Carole carries out an 'Eye Spy' and who should she see entering the downtown Mulgoa eatery - The Honourable Marise Payne, Federal Minister for Defence. Tempted to ask for a 'selfie', but not brave enough!
