THURSDAY 23.3.2017:
S-o-o-o-o-o-o-o excited, watching the 2017 'Voice' promo and who do we see - s-o-o-o-o-o going to be voting this year! A break in the weather so we headed for Bilpin (population 932), and the Wildwood Garden - we were buoyed with enthusiasm, had a scenic drive with no rain and as we turned into the street we were met with this sign! No, will not be in the area tomorrow, maybe next time! Lunched at Bilpin Park and then headed for an apple orchard.
Bilpin is a small town on the historic Bells Line of Road in the City of Hawkesbury local government area in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Bilpin is known as "Land of the Mountain Apple". Fruit orchards and beautiful gardens thrive in the fertile soil and the road is lined with roadside stalls selling home-made produce, especially during summer. Bilpin apples and Bilpin apple juice are well-known around Australia. Bought apples (of course), a home made apple pie and grapes!
Waiting for Carole to exit IGA and noticed this profound statement - like it!
