ARDLETHAN - POPULATION: 379

SAT 11 - SUN 12.4.2015: Okay, so who was able to spot the blog mistakes? This is the very reason why Carole is the navigator and Sybil the driver! The correct route has now been recorded and we are up to date - till the next fax pas! Ardlethan is a small service town located in the Coolamon Shire and lays claim to being the birthplace of the Australian kelpie. The caravan park as such, is parking by the local park where you can have power (first in best dressed), or if unpowered you just park where you like - all free of charge. Supported the local community at the Bowls Club on Saturday night - had probably the best run E-V-E-R on their poker machines, plus pizzas were on offer for tea - bonus! Unfortunately they are operating out of a makeshift building as the club burnt down - suspected electrical fault. The Manager of the club is a previous resident of Newcastle.
MADISON INSISTS ON SITTING OUT
AND SMELLING THE ROSES EVEN IF
SHE IS FACED WITH A SEA OF THISTLES!
On the weekend a tent is erected in the local park and half a dozen chairs placed out for their 'Driver Reviver' station that is clearly advertised from the highway - excellent concept which will certainly bring people into the village. The park also served as Shayden's playground.
