GEORGES PLAINS - POPULATION: 361

THUR 9.4.2015: We are now headed for Bathurst to top up on our supplies. Just had to stop off again at Sofala - the oldest surviving Gold Town established in 1851. Needed to warm up by the pub fire!
REALLY NOTHING TO ADD!
Next stop was at Georges Plains where we planned to catch up with Anne and Jim Montague. We met this lovely couple two years ago when we spent Christmas at Walpole, WA. They are currently down from Noosa and staying with Jim's sister at Georges Plains so we thought it an ideal opportunity to drop in! Spent an enjoyable afternoon catching up - parked in their back yard for the evening.
