ROBE, SA - POPULATION: 1,246

SUNDAY 17.5.2015: Left Mt Gambier and headed along the Limestone Coast toward Robe. It goes without saying that there are more rocks and formations to be viewed! First stop is at Beachport for lunch at the second longest jetty in SA.

POST OFFICE ROCK

Whilst in Beachport we meandered along the Bowmans Scenic Drive which included Backlers Lookout and Post Office Rock.

Spending the evening at a free camp just out of Robe. Robe is a town and fishing port located in the Limestone Coast of South Australia. The town is distinctive due to the combination of historical buildings, ocean, fishing fleets, lakes and dense bush. Robe lies on the southern shore of Guichen Bay, just off the Princes Highway. In our driving today we passed great scenery Lake George, Lake St Clair and Lake Eliza. The day has been all about SUNSHINE - what a novelty! Madison so enjoyed the sunshine - just a touch of cabin fever!
