TUES 5 - WED 6.5.2015: We returned to the same venue today to Flagstaff Hill - "a journey back in time". Flagstaff Hill's Maritime Village is set on 10 acres and reflects the pioneering atmosphere of an 1870s coastal port. It is a state heritage listed precinct, incorporating Lady Bay lighthouse, Warrnambool garrison and maritime village. The added enjoyment at this village is that not only can you enter all the buildings, but the amount of period memorabilia that has been collected and is on display is phenomenal.

THUNDER POINT |
Before leaving Warrnambool we stopped in at Thunder Point and Pickering Point. One interesting snippet of information we have learnt is that Australia has the fourth most dangerous coastline in the world - surprise! Spent the evening at the Killarney Caravan Park ($20.00 per night for a powered site), not doing much of anything as the "autumn" weather had set in!
