CORONATION BEACH

THURS 7 - SUNDAY 10.11.2013: Coronation Beach is one of the most attractive and popular beaches along the Mid West Coast with both locals and visitors alike.  It is considered to be one of the finest windsurfing locations in the world (as you would imagine - the reason for our visit - not). $6.00 Seniors/$7.00 Adults per night - Seniors are not considered adults! Situated 36 km north of Geraldton, with a maximum stay of one month.

Night one - a car with three German lads parked at the back of the motorhome. So close that we would not have been able to reverse and near enough that they could utilise our back box as a table and sit under the shade offered by the motorhome. Talk about invasion of your personal space! Day two we moved and then this........ Have to say though, this was a French man travelling by himself and he proved to be an excellent neighbour - compared to the previous night he was parked suburbs away!

Woke to a text message sent by ANZ Fraud - "Due to a security concern your card ending ____ has been suspended to prevent unauthorised usage. Please contact ANZ 24/7. 7.11.2013 - 12.32am." Not sure if the text itself was a fraud Carole rang ANZ and was advised that the card had been used twice to purchase overseas goods costing $1.80 and $19.00 respectively. Then an amount that far exceeded our available credit was tried - that was when the card was suspended. ANZ are refunding the amounts and Sybil's card is now in play - will sort Carole's card out on our return - another interesting experience!

The newest Leyland Adventurer - Shayden, has found water. He is retrieving his toy, but is prepared to return to the water time and time again. Did consider throwing the ball to the horizon, but the arm strength was a little inadequate!
