BERRY SPRINGS

OUR TRIM, TAUT TERRIFIC MADISON!
WEDNESDAY 7 - SAT 10.08.2013: Since taking up residence in the park we have attended the Sunday markets, deckchair cinema and dined in the restaurant. The puddles and humans have had hair cuts (short back and top knot to cope with the heat). Went to Sue's Grooming in Woodroffe (for the dogs that is), and she was excellent - ears, glands and nails. They now look somewhat bald, but it is was at our request. Motorhome has been washed and in for a wheel alignment and the computer battery replaced. Had a drink at the nearby Litchfield Pub and then drove into Darwin and spent time donating our coins to the Casino. Loved Darwin, but parking is not ideal for the larger vehicles. Would revisit the area, but probably find alternative transport. The roadways though are superbly laid out and you have no trouble driving in and around the "city".

DARWIN CASINO
We have to concede that we have found our winter hideaway at Tumbling Waters. Serious consideration is being given to spending two months next year at this venue - we have loved it. When we return we can visit the Territory Wildlife Park!
