TIMBER CREEK - KUNUNURRA
SAT 17.08.2013: Rode into Saddle Creek Rest Area (ha), which is situated between Timber Creek and Kununurra. Stunning backdrop for a freedom camp, but the only issue was the heat. During our Tamworth trip we had purchased "frocks" (more like throw over sleeveless shifts), to don if the weather became totally unbearable - better option than the nudist alternative! This would not normally be an outfit of choice, b-u-t the time had come - Sybil threw the frock on. Carole then suggested the generator be kicked over so the air conditioner could be fired - there is something a little incongruous in bending over starting a generator whilst trying to maintain a "Mrs Bucket" (pronounced "Bouquet") status!
